Editor's Letter

Beloved in Christ:

I have been thinking about giving, especially to religious causes such as churches, T.V., and radio preachers. Much of such giving is like pouring your money down religious rat holes. With over 2,000 churches, cults, sects, and individual preachers calling themselves prophets, apostles, and evangelists, who are you going to support? Millions of dollars have been put into church buildings, schools and hospitals so men like Nebuchadnezzar can gloat and say, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?" Daniel 4:30.

I got to thinking -- who should God's children support? It should be a matter of prayer with a desire to do God's will. John 7:17. Otherwise they may be building with wood, hay and stubble which will be burned up. I Cor. 3:10-15, Rev. 17:16.

How are they going to know what to support when thousands of hands are being stretched out with the owner of the hand saying, this is a great work of God: put your money in my hand?

First of all, they need to be faithful to God's word, not religious tradition of those claiming to be sent of God. I mean the anointed word. There is as much difference in the letter of the word and the anointed word as there is in a dead corpse and a live person. Dead preachers and churches beget dead church members. Everything brings forth after its own kind. When a preacher or church system is settled on its doctrines, experiences and traditions it is like a hole of water with no inlet or outlet: it stagnates. The wise and the foolish virgins are both sleeping together and the bridegroom is coming. Matt. 25:1-13.

Pray for us, beloved. The word we are preaching today is going to every continent on earth. More and more people are listening and seeing us on videotape. This in addition to radio and T.V. Programs. We are coming to grips with truth most preachers know nothing about and they couldn't preach if they did. They are servants of the system they are part of. They are still in the camps of men. Hebrews 13:13.
