Editor's Letter

Beloved in Christ,

We will continue to walk by faith until Jesus comes or he takes us home. Either way we have wonderful things to look forward to. The first great thing that is in store for us is rest. John on the Isle of Patmos was told to write, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Rev. 14:13.

Although we started out in such a small insignificant way in the latter part of the forties, God has multiplied the loaves and the fishes. John 6:5-14. Today we are going into all the world by way of radio and T.V. This is being done without begging or using gimmicks or tricks to get people to support this work. In all truth I have to say it wasn't something I planned or anticipated. I simply used what I had without even dreaming of the end results or what is taking place today.

Over forty years ago I started out without a car or salary. I just walked the roads, hitched to go where I needed. I worked enough to support my wife and children. We didn't live high on the hog but God blessed us. What God is doing today is reaching with this gospel (His Gospel) to much of the world. I do not see it as my work. I have nothing to glory in. It simply is fulfilling his word. Ephesians 3:20, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

Your Unworthy Servant,
C. Parker Thomas
