    Dear Saints,

Greetings to all in the wonderful name of Jesus! As I write this we are still rejoicing over the richness of God's blessing in our June Convention in Jacksonville, Florida. Folks from several states gathered together in eager anticipation and were not disappointed. We also enjoyed having Bobby and Dottie from the Philippines with us as well. They are always a blessing.

Recordings are available and the ministry portions of the meetings can be both heard and seen on the website. No doubt some of the ministry will wind up being incorporated into the television broadcast in months to come. On Friday evening of the meeting we added an extra hour to the service and used the first 2 hours to record some wonderful music for use in the broadcast. The Lord's presence was very special as His praises were expressed in song.

I can't remember a convention in which there was more evident freedom and growth in the people. God has been working--and indeed, continues to work in our hearts and lives. We can attribute it to nothing but God's grace. It is His grace that has moved our people to prayer in very special ways and also provided the Word that is needed.

He works not through any strength or cleverness on our part but in our weakness. Is that not what our brother Paul discovered in 2 Corinthians 12:9? What distress Paul experienced as he prayed that God would deliver him from the "messenger of Satan," yet what a change of attitude we see in him when God helped him to understand.

The trend in our world towards spiritual darkness and away from God should be obvious to anyone with spiritual discernment. Yet we know that nothing has escaped His control and that His purposes are being and will be fulfilled in the earth. I believe there is a growing longing in the hearts of God's elect for this dark and evil world to be forever behind us yet we can rest in Him and know that our Lord will not return one minute late.

In the meantime we rejoice in the many wonderful opportunities we have been given to glorify Him and share His Word with others around the world. We continue to reach most of the globe by way of radio and television and are receiving much encouragement from listeners.

The internet provides more and more opportunities for outreach and some of our brethren have undertaken to see that audio and video selections are available for online access in such places as You Tube and God Tube as well as our own website at www.midcry.org.

We continue to be in touch with brethren from many parts of the world and encourage all to pray as many labor in challenging places. I know that difficulties are God's opportunities but brethren still need prayer for God's grace in every situation. And we are much blessed at every report of believers in other places praying for us! We need it, and appreciate it. Truly we need each other.

Please pray for us that God will lead in everything we do whether it is in the week-to-week ministry in the local assemblies or in travel opportunities. We want His will alone. Nothing we do will produce eternal results and everything He does will! And now may God richly bless you until next issue (of course He doesn't have to stop blessing you then!).

    Your brother in Christ,
    Phil Enlow
